Women Empowerment

Women's empowerment has been a core area of focus for Annapurna since our founding. We conduct legal literacy camps that build awareness of rights, entitlements and grievance-redressal systems, alongside regular health checkups and skill-based training for rural women. With support from the Maharashtra State Commission for Women, we have run workshops on gender equality, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) awareness, and digital literacy — and we mark Women's Day each year with campaigns that celebrate women's leadership.
