Health & Nutrition

Annapurna organises regular health camps in partnership with local Gram Panchayats and hospitals, serving women, children and elderly populations with free general health checkups, anaemia screening and health-awareness sessions. Specialised camps for adolescent girls focus on menstrual hygiene and nutritional deficiencies, including distribution of sanitary kits and supplements.

  • Health Check-up & Cancer Awareness CampsWith Krishna Hospital & Krishna Vishwavidyapeeth (2023): screening and counselling for 1,200 women, promoting early detection of cancer and preventive health behaviour.
  • Community Health Camps for Rural VillagesWith local Gram Panchayats & Health Departments (2024–2025): BP, sugar and general check-ups for 1,500 beneficiaries, with free medicines and referrals.
  • World AIDS Day AwarenessWith Krishna Hospital (KIMSDU): rallies and essay competitions engaging around 300 students and teachers each year, increasing knowledge of HIV prevention.
  • Drug Abuse Prevention & Behaviour Change ProgrammeWith Krishna Hospital (KIMSDU, 2024): community awareness, youth counselling and rehabilitation linkages for over 500 participants.
