Skill Development & Livelihood
Since 2012, Annapurna has conducted over 30 skill-development training programmes in collaboration with agencies including Kherwadi Association, BARTI, MCED, NSDC, and corporate partners such as Gharda Chemicals. Programmes span tailoring, beautician courses, basic English and computer training, BFSI-sector training and value-added milk processing. More than 4,000 rural youth and women — including Scheduled Caste and BPL families — have benefited through employment placement and entrepreneurship support, and over 350 Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) have been formed to promote micro-enterprises.
Key Activities & Outcomes
- Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Training for PWDsCSR partnership with Gharda Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. & Gharda Hospital (2024–2025): 35 differently-abled beneficiaries trained in entrepreneurship and linked to loan schemes, out of 200 total beneficiaries.
- Joint Liability Groups350+ JLGs formed to promote micro-enterprises, with training linked to placement opportunities across Maharashtra, Gujarat and Odisha.
- Sector Skilling PartnershipsOngoing collaboration with MCED, NSDC, NABARD and Skill India (Training Provider ID: TP349858) on employable-skills training.
