Water & Sanitation
Under Water and Sanitation, Annapurna is a key implementation partner. We currently serve as an Implementation Support Agency (ISA) under the Jal Jeevan Mission, covering over 60 villages in Satara district and working toward the goal of Har Ghar Jal (piped water to every household). We also work with the Zilla Parishads of Satara and Sangli on solid waste and wastewater management, through DPR preparation and village-level sanitation planning.
Key Activities & Outcomes
- Solid Waste & Wastewater Management ProjectWith Zilla Parishad Satara & Sangli (2021–2024): DPR preparation, sanitation planning and waste-segregation awareness across 70 villages.
- KRC Capacity Building Trainings (JJM & SBM)With Manvel Bardeskar Gargoti Sanstha & ZP Satara (2023–2024): capacity building for 250 Gram Panchayat members and village functionaries on water and sanitation governance.
- Jal Jeevan Mission & Swachh Bharat MissionHousehold tap-water access work in 60+ villages under JJM; solid and liquid waste management support in 50+ villages under SBM, benefiting over 50,000 people in total.
